Argyle PAC Executive Positions
Elections for PAC Executive Positions take place at the AGM. Nominations are welcome for all positions. All PAC members are elected to represent the entire school community.
Chair/Co-Chairs:
The chairperson coordinates PAC affairs in cooperation with other executive members. The chairperson makes a sincere effort to understand local conditions in the school and community and maintains a spirit of loyalty. The chairperson will work cooperatively and positively with the PAC executive, school administration, and the general membership. This is a great position to share with a friend, and will be less work if two people share this role. The current PAC chair remains on the PAC exec for one year, as the past chair, so you will have some support.

The Chairperson/Co-Chair shall also:
- Convene & preside at all General & Executive meetings.
- Ensure an agenda is prepared for all PAC meetings
- Meet and liaise with school administrators as needed
- Act as a liaison between the various committees & the PAC executive (attending meetings not required)
- Be the official spokesperson for the PAC
- Be one of the signing officers
Vice Chair or Co-Chair:
The vice chairperson assists in coordinating PAC affairs in cooperation with other executive members. The vice chairperson makes a sincere effort to understand local conditions in the school and community, and maintains a spirit of loyalty, cooperation and friendliness among the executive and general membership.

- Convene & preside at all General & Executive meetings.
- Ensure an agenda is prepared for all PAC the meetings
- Reviews new fundraising proposals
- Be one of the official spokespeople for the PAC
- Be one of the signing officers
Secretary:
- Record and summarize minutes from executive & general PAC meetings (7-8 per year)
- Responsible for distribution/posting of minutes from General PAC meetings
- Provide copies of minutes, agenda & sign in sheet at General PAC meetings
- Keep a current copy of the Constitution & Bylaws & file amendments with the School Board office
- Safely keep all records of the PAC
Treasurer:
- Responsible for the financial accounts of the organization
- One of the signing officers
- Prepare up to date financial reports/status for General PAC meetings
- With the assistance of the Executive, prepare all financial documentation required for BC Gaming Commission (BCGC) applications and maintaining active status with BCGC.
Member at Large:
- Attend Argyle PAC Executive and PAC Meetings regularly
- Assist with PAC events, programs and fundraising as needed
DPAC Representative:
- Attend monthly District PAC meetings.
- Report back to PAC Executive and share the information at the Argyle General PAC meetings
